4 SLES students participated and placed at the Alamo Regional Science & Engineering Fair at St. Mary’s University during Spring Break:
 
Caroline Case, Medicine and Health – 5th Place
 
Natalie Ribble, Botany – 2nd Place
 
Serena Koontz, Chemistry – 1st Place
 
Henry Koontz, Physics – 1st Place
 
Henry also won 2 special awards:
- American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics Award (plus $50)
- Air Force Award

Middle School Lecture Series

The Middle School Lecture Series Presents Connie Wootton.

Connie is a leading educator.  She previously has been a teacher and a head of school for 21 years.  She is currently the Executive Director of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools.  She will be at SLES meeting with the Board of Trustees and has agreed to speak to our parents on an area of her expertise:

 “Understanding Your Child’s Temperament.”

 Tuesday, March 3rd, 7pm, Middle School Commons

All parents are invited.
Wine and Cheese will be served.

 

This program has been put together just for you, parents…so please come.
