Background Information Help

Posted in 7th Grade, 8th Grade at 11:32 am by slesscience

7th and 8th Graders,

You initial background information will be due on Monday September 15th. Bring your typed background information paper that contains information from at least five resources. The paper must discuss the scientific foundation for your experiment, justify your hypothesis, and provide any information that you learned about your methods (think procedure).

Remember you must have at least three different types of sources (internet, book, periodical, interview,…) and an MLA citation for all of you sources. Here are two helpful links to help you with your MLA citations.

Hello Mr. Kremer. It’s caroline. I was questioning if anjali and i could skip going to the library and work on our projects at school. We probably wouldn’t get anything done at the library because we already have all of our informaciόn on the laptops at school, and we have already done our background information. Please get reply ASAP, on your blog!

    Hi Mr. Kremer,

I’m confused on the Research Plan. I already finished the Bib. and Background info but the example of the research plan you gave us is a little confusing!

    Please explain!

    Milla,

If you have the background information and bibliography done, then you are in good shape. The research plan isn’t due until Wednesday so you can ask me on Monday. Here is my one tip. Everyone needs sections A-D, but 1-4 only apply is you have human subjects, animals, or hazardous chemicals in your experiment.

    Hey Mr. Kremer,

I get how to do the Research Plan! I looked at your example today and I figured it out and got it done. Maybe I didn’t get it last night because I tried doing it at 10:00 p.m. in the dark. Hmmm…

    Haha Well thanks!

Oh, and what do you mean by 1-4? I did A-D. Is that 1-4??
